Lisa Cooper earned a BA in literature from Geneva College, and an MA in religion from The American Lutheran Theological Seminary.
Lisa is a marketing specialist at Paravel Insights and a freelance writer and editor with various publications and ministries. She currently serves as an Adjunct Chaplain at Chesterton House, a center for Christian studies at Cornell University. Formerly, she served as a Senior Copywriter and the Director of Products and Content at RevelationMedia. And for nearly eight years, she was the chief editor of The Evangel, the magazine of The American Association of Lutheran Churches. She has written content for Barna and The American Bible Society, edited for Just and Sinner Publications, and her feature writing and creative writing has been published in Fathom Magazine, The Christian Research Journal, Mockingbird, and Ekstasis Magazine, among others.
Along with writing and editing, Lisa has over a decade of practical ministry experience. She has served as an assistant preschool teacher at Trinity Lutheran Preschool, as well as a Women's Ministry Fellow with Christian Union Vita at Cornell University.
Lisa lives in the Finger Lakes region of New York with her family.
